STEAM LOLITA: Steampunk-lolita fusion fashion is born

I've decided to launch a new additional brand to Dance Macabre called ' Steam Lolita'. Its a fusion of Steampunk and Japanese Lolita fashion.

The idea came to me whilst reading the manga series 'Hollow Fields'. One illustration fired my imagination and I began to think of the possibilities of expanding my work for a female audience. Gothic & Lolita fashion has been huge in Japan for years and is now working its way into Western Gothic and even mainstream fashion, it seemed like a logical step to cross the relatively new gothic offshoot of steampunk with it.

The initial range of clothing and accessories will include:

womens t shirts
linen patches
customised accessories such as parasols
papier mache alice bands

New Cufflinks go down a storm over Christmas!

I've finally got time after the Christmas rush to post shots of the new cufflink designs I produced for the festive rush!

Two feature Ancient Egyptian themes and one is a variation of my massively popular Cthulhu design.

New patch and shirt designs for the new year

Its been a while since I've been able to burn any screens due to a bad batch of photo emulsion. After weeks of experimenting with various burn times as long as 1 hour (usually it only takes 10minutes to activate the light sensitive ingredient and produce a screen) I finally bought a branded product and its producing better results than ever!

!st off the block is a Steampunk inspired design available as a linen patch and a white t shirt. A patch shirt will follow soon!

Secondly i've produced a large 30cm squared print based on the writing of HP Lovecraft available as a patch and shortly a shirt

More updates soon!
